Team Slowspokes

Whether you are just thinking about racing or you race regularily, there are many great reasons why BOD / Team Slowspokes can support your goals. Along with our massive presence at 24HR team events, many of our members race in the GAP and SERC series on a regular basis. We have representation in almost all racing classes - women, beginner, sport, and even a couple clydesdales.

While many teams emphasize results, we emphasize personal achievement. In that regard, we aren't usually eligible for free stuff from bike companies, but in reality, you typically end up with a box full of crap you don't need and it ends up in a grage sale. We try to attract sposors who fund us with cash to cover the cost of our uniforms and sometimes entry fees.

Unless you have a problem with people cheering for you and supporting your goals, then we highly recommend you join us on a few rides and get yourself into the bod groove.
GAP Series
Georgia Association of Promoters (GAP) hosts a 10-12 event series each year and now includes NORBA points. You will see many BOD members sprinkled throughout each class and see the BOD pit area at almost every GAP race in 2005.

These are the life-blood of BOD and we encourage all members to participate in the 24 hour events. It's a great way to be introduced to the thrill of racing and invite anyone interested to contact us for the next event.
