Rides open to members and non-members. All riders must wear ANSI/Snell approved helmets and bring water & food for 1 to 3 hours of vigorous activity. Water in all streams in the Southeast should not be consumed before filtering and treating. You should carry tools to fix minor problems and flat tires. Contact ride leader if in doubt about preparation.
·Beginner rides -normally between 5-10 miles, casual pace; usually suitable for novice riders - check with ride leader.
·Intermediate rides - normally between 10-20 miles (1 1/2 to 2 hours); may include difficult hills. Can include technical sections.
·Advanced rides - normally between 15-30 miles; will include steep long climbs. Can include extremely technical sections.
When in doubt, check with your ride leader.
